Beyond
its relationship to natural systems, another important aspect of
design is its relationship to the human condition. Design is the
confluence of human needs, desires, concerns, and creativity. Therefore,
it is important to consider the social nature of practicing design.
This
section of the site suggests ideas on the practice of design as
it pertains to the designer internally, to his or her relationship
to the client, and to his or her relationship to local and external
design communities. In each of these areas an emphasis is placed
on nurturance and growth. In accordance with the ideals of Organic
Multiplicity, there are considerable benefits to having an organic
approach to the human interactions involved in design.
